WHAT TIME SHOULD WE BOOK OUR SESSION?
I'm a huge fan of really great light! I can confidently say that lighting plays a crucial role in capturing stunning images. Whether it's an outdoor session or an indoor shoot, I always strive to find the best time of day to ensure the most flattering lighting for my clients.
For outdoor sessions, the magical moments occur bright and early, just after sunrise or during the golden hour before sunset. These two times of day offer the most ideal lighting conditions that any photographer could ask for. With the sun lower in the sky, the light is softer and more gentle, creating a beautiful ambiance and enhancing the natural beauty of the subjects.
When it comes to indoor sessions, the time of day preference flips. If you're interested in booking an in-home session, I recommend aiming for a later morning or afternoon slot, ideally between 10am to 2pm. During these times, the light inside your home is usually at its best. The soft, diffused light that filters through the windows can create a cozy and intimate atmosphere, perfect for capturing those precious moments in the comfort of your own space.
